How Fast Is Mobile Phone Browsing growing?

It’s estimated that by the year 2013, more people will use their mobile devices than their computers to access the internet and look for information. This is because of the convenience factor associated with mobile phones and most people have them readily attached to their person to quickly look for information.

Since the year 2010, mobile phone usage and searches have grown by 400% and the number of mobile phone users continues to increase as well.

It’s estimated that by the year 2015, there will be one mobile device for every single person on the planet. That means, that while everyone on the planet may not have a mobile device, it will be pretty close and there will be enough mobile phones to cover every single person. The majority of these people will not be using computers to access the internet and look for company information either; they’ll be using their mobile phones.

The longer you have a website that isn’t accessible by mobile, the longer you’ll be left in the dark by mobile phone users. These are all potential customers that need to have a way to get to your website and access your company information. If you wait until 2013 or 2015 when mobile phone usage will increase even further, how many potential customers will you have lost due to them not being able to find your information or your services?
